While the US employs an ex-Goldman top banker as Treasury Secretary only to rack up a record-high budget deficit, the fledgling Iraqi government has managed to eek out a surplus in the billions. If that democracy thing doesn’t work for them there could be some good jobs for those Iraqi ministers on Wall Street.
